40|28 Trail Junction

The 40|28 Trail Junction is a large, frequently confusing, and poorly marked intersection of 4 trail points. It encompasses the 40th St. (Washington Crossing) Bridge north from Lawrenceville (Pittsburgh) PA, down a ramp (between the lanes of the limited access PA Rte. 28) down to Millvale, through 2 underpasses and over railroad tracks to the Three Rivers Heritage (North Shore) Trail.  The MBBPC is spearheading an effort to upgrade signage along the Junction and to educate the public about navigating it.
